Om Shala Yoga offers a wide range of classes to address the following specific groups or needs:
If you…
- Are new to yoga
- Level 1: Mon/Th 5:30 – 7 p.m. or Fri 9 – 10:30 a.m.
- Nice 'n' Easy: Mon 4 – 5 p.m. or Tu/Th 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
- Restorative Yoga: Tu/Th 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. or Sun 6:30 – 8 p.m.
- Have injuries or chronic pain
- Alignment for Pain and Injuries: Fri 4 – 5 p.m.
- Nice 'n' Easy: Mon 4 – 5 p.m. or Tu/Th 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
- Restorative Yoga: Tu/Th 7:30 – 8:45 p.m. or Sun 6:30 – 8 p.m.
- Muscle Activation Techniques (M.A.T.): Sat 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.

- Have preschool children ages 1.5–4 and want to practice with grown-ups
- Wed 9 – 10:25 a.m. Anusara for you while your kids take Preschool Age Yoga Play next door
- Have children ages 4–8 and want to practice with grown-ups
- Tu 4 p.m. Level 1/2 for you while your kids take Kids' Yoga next door
- Have children ages 9–13 and want to practice with grown-ups
- Tu 4 p.m. Level 1/2 for you while your kids take Kids' Yoga next door
- Have children and want to practice with them
- if your kids are ages 1.5-4, try Mommy/Daddy and Me, Mon 11 a.m.
- For the whole family, try Family Yoga, Sun 12:15 – 1:15 p.m.
- Many of our "adult" classes are kid-friendly – just call and ask!
- Are a teen
- Yoga for Teens: Wed 4 – 5 p.m.
- Are a schoolteacher who can arrive by 3:30 or 4 p.m.
- Level 1/2: Mon/Wed/Fri 4:15 – 5:25 p.m. or Tu/Th 4 – 5 p.m.
- Have injuries that keep you from a physical practice but still want to practice OR Are interested in meditation and philosophy
- Beyond Asana: Mon 7:15 – 8:15 p.m.
- Open Meditation: Tu/Th 8 – 8:25 a.m.
- Arcata Zen Group Sunday Sit & Dharma Talk: Sun 8 or 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
