Many of us have peak experiences of a deeper, more profound reality, perhaps through the splendor of nature or in the eyes of a toddler. Those of us who are dedicated to spiritual practice have likely sensed a greater reality while on the mat or cushion. Bringing the stillness, depth and beauty that we discover in our spiritual practice to the world of our everyday lives is known as embodiment. Compassion and self-understanding are crucial on the journey to this spiritual maturity; when we look deeply into ourselves we are looking into the essence of all existence. What causes your soul to flourish? What holds you back? Can life really be lived with a sense of wonder and amazement? Join Christine Fiorentino and T Proctor for an afternoon of discovering the potentialities of your soul and the freedom to embody your true nature.
Christine Fiorentino
Early in her career as a Yoga teacher in Santa Cruz, Christine discovered the path of spiritual inquiry as taught by Adyashanti. This teaching has been invaluable in deepening her understanding of the mind-body-spirit connection and the true meaning of Yoga. Most recently she has been inspired by the work of the Diamond Approach and her own personal practice of yoga, meditation and inquiry. Christine has been teaching in Humboldt County since 2005 and feels excited and blessed to be part of the thriving Yoga community in this area.
T Jonathon Proctor
T’s early background as bodyworker led him to eastern practices such as Vipassana meditation. Later he set to exploring multiple forms of mysticism and ultimately devoted years to experiencing Non-dual presence with teachers such as Gangaji, Adyashanti, Eckhart Tolle. He is in his sixth year as a bereavement support facilitator with hospice and is currently involved in the psycho-spiritual depth work of the Diamond Approach.
Together Christine and T lead small group meetings, retreats, individual sessions and workshops. They are dedicated to the practice of inquiry as a way of life to transform and evolve old habitual behaviors into an expression of freedom, spontaneity, and joy.
