Intro to Kriya, Mudra, & Pranayama

The practice of Yogasana is merely preparation for moving towards the higher limbs of yoga. Through the practice of kriya, mudra, & pranayama, the yogi begins to explore more deeply into the layers of her/his consciousness. This leads to a greater understanding of, and control over, one’s individual aura or energy field (Pranamaya Kosha). This workshop will be an accessible introduction to these powerful, ancient techniques.

Joey Paz has spent months of intensive study in Mysore, India with Sri BNS Iyengar, the world’s eldest living master of Ashtanga Yoga and an original student of Sri T. Krishnamacharya. Joey is authorized by BNS Iyengar to teach the techniques of this lineage, which have been transmitted directly from Krishnamacharya himself.
