Embodied Wisdom w/ Karen Harris:
An Introduction to the Philosophy of Yoga, Level I
Four Monday evenings: September 20 - October 11
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The vast wealth of India's spiritual wisdom arises out of the inspirational texts and teachings of its most ancient religious and philosophical texts and traditions. In this class, we will explore the foundations of Indian spirituality and practice, including the Vedas, Upanishads, the Yoga Sutras, and the Bhagavad Gita. Clear descriptions of the key teachings of each system will be offered, along with contemplative explorations of how we can apply this ancient wisdom in our daily lives.
This class is a prerequisite for Embodied Wisdom Level II,
which will be taught at Om Shala Yoga in the spring of 2011.
$70 through September 10 | $85 after September 10
