Starting anything new can be daunting. Here’s a brief primer to let you know where to start and what to expect.

Contrary to popular belief, there is no flexibility required to practice yoga. Increased flexibility is a by-product of yoga, not a prerequisite. Yoga offers stress relief, increased strength and range of motion, relaxation, and enhanced flexibility, no matter what your starting point.

As we live in this world, stresses can get caught in the body and, as we age, we can get stiff and our energy may not be as pure and vibrant as we would like. The physical practice of yoga not only helps you to feel better physically, because your aches and pains will dissipate, but also helps you to feel more relaxed and more comfortable in your body.
