A Fresh Start-Big News
Wow. How’s it going out there people? It is hard to even know where to begin after such a long absence from the world of the studio. I miss you. I miss practicing yoga in a dedicated space with other people, breathing in time with my friends.
I am so pleased to finally announce that one of these dear friends is stepping into the role of steward of this yoga community. The papers have been signed and he has found a new home for practice in Arcata for all of us, even though I was unable to keep our studio as we knew it afloat. Shawn Green is a long-time student of the shala, of our advanced training program, and has also traveled to India and studied with our teacher Sri. BNS Iyengar of Mysore. His support and willingness to carry the responsibility of managing this school is a huge blessing for many people in this community and I am forever grateful to him.

Many of the details are still in the works, and I feel I should let him reveal the full image of this beautiful new incarnation of Om Shala, so that is all I will say for now.
